Leeds carer 'nervous' she won't be able to get to patients due to Jubilee road closures

The Queen's Jubilee bank holiday is taking place next week from June 2 to June 5. There will be a multitude of events and celebrations to mark the Queen's 70-year reign including street parties.

However, not everyone has four days off during the bank holiday. Essential and key workers are still going to be working their regular jobs, including one carer from Leeds who is concerned about potential road closures due to the celebrations.

Julie Wilson is a carer based in Bramley, she works all over Leeds including Yeadon, Horsforth and Cookridge. Julie is worried that due to street parties, roads will be closed meaning she and other emergency and care workers will not be able to attend to their patients.
