Leeds bin collections will be cancelled as 'a mark of respect' for the Queen's state funeral.
There will be no bin collection services on Monday (September 19) on the day of Her Majesty's funeral. This will have knock on effect for the rest of the week with collections taking place a day later.
Leeds City Council released the following statement: "There will be no bin collections on Monday 19 September as a mark of respect for Her Majesty The Queen’s state funeral.

"All collections on the week commencing Monday 19 September will take place a day later than normal, with usual service resuming on Monday 26 September."
The state funeral is due to take place at Westminster Abbey in London from 11am on Monday and her coffin will be taken via a procession to St. George’s Chapel.
