Dominic Ball has urged Michael Beale to hand Lee Wallace a Rangers reprieve with an invite to join his backroom staff.

Ball played alongside the former Ibrox skipper in Glasgow and at QPR and has been impressed by his forward-thinking views on the game. He reckons Wallace – who retired in the summer – would be the perfect man to assist Beale if he takes up the Ibrox post.

Ball told Record Spor t : “Lee spoke very highly of Michael Beale and Lee is someone whose opinion I really respect.
