Lee Mack has become one of the country's most recognisable comedians and presenters.
Born and bred in Southport, the comedian, whose real name is Lee Gordon McKillop, first appeared on our screens in the early 2000s and his career has since gone from strength to strength. He is most well-known for being a team captain on the BBC comedy panel show Would I Lie To You?, and for hosting the Sky One show Duck Quacks Don't Echo.
Not Going Out, which Lee now only stars in but also writes, returns to our screens on Friday (March 25). Lee has also presented They Think It's All Over, as well as appearing on Taskmaster, being the guest announcer on Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, and starring in many an episode of 8 Out of 10 Cats does Countdown.

The comedy writer has also had a number of appearances on Soccer Aid, but will bow out this year, after scoring the winning goal for the "rest of the world team" last year - despite hailing from Southport. A Sandgrounder through and through, Mr Mack has even donated his lawnmower to the town's famous museum.
While Lee's career goes from strength to strength, he rarely posts on social media and keeps his family life out of the limelight. Many people may therefore not know he has been married for 17 years and is dad to three beautiful children.
Lee is married to wife Tara McKillop, and has previously said he has to put up with people believing that she was attracted by his high profile and fortune, rather than his charm and humour. The pair actually met while at university.
They were married in 2005 and have three children: Arlie, Louie and Millie. According to an episode of Task Master, Lee Mack is a vegan.
In a segment where the contestants guess where they rank compared to each other for most pints of milk drunk per month, Lee comes in last place as he drinks zero pints per month. He has also given up alcohol, which he has discussed on his podcast, I Can't Believe It's Not Buddha.
Neil Webster is his co-host and the two discuss taking their first, often clumsy, steps on the road to nirvana. Lee has long had an interest in Buddhism, mindfulness and the possibility of a more spiritual life.
