Lee Johnson's first Hibs starting XI as seven signings start and Aiden McGeady decision made

Hibs manager Lee Johnson has named his first starting XI as boss at Easter Road ahead of their friendly match with English League Two Hartlepool United.

The match is taking place over in Portugal as part of the Easter Road club's warm weather training camp, scheduled to take on League One club Burton Albion later this week. For now it's Hartlepool, managed by former Hearts and Celtic midfielder Paul Hartley, who await them and a host of new signings are featuring.

Elie Youan, David Marshall, Nohan Kenneh, Rocky Bushiri, Lewis Miller, Momodou Bojang, Jair Tavares, Kyle McClelland and Aiden McGeady have all signed up ahead of the new term and all but Bojang and McGeady start against English opposition. Former Celtic winger McGeady has only just joined up with the squad after leaving Sunderland while Bojang is still finishing up the loose ends of his move to Scotland's Premiership.

Lewis Stevenson, Jake Doyle-Hayes, Ewan Henderson and Runar Hauge also start with a new XI to be fielded in the second half.
