LeBron James is on the cusp of achieving a monumental feat in his illustrious NBA career as he stands just one point away from reaching the 50,000 points mark, encompassing both regular season and playoff scoring. However, due to NBA regulations, the 99 points he scored in play-in tournament games and the 2023 in-season tournament final are not included in his official tally, leaving him at 49,999 points for now.
The Los Angeles Lakers' upcoming game against the New Orleans Pelicans presents an opportunity for James to reach this historic milestone, a moment that could be witnessed as soon as Tuesday night.
