The Los Angeles Lakers are trying to turn the corner after losing five of their first eight games this season. They had a three-game losing streak to start a four-game road trip, but they ended that skid with a come-from-behind win over the Phoenix Suns on Friday. They followed it with another victory on Sunday over the Portland Trail Blazers.
While Los Angeles still isn’t playing anywhere up to its potential, it may be starting to get healthier. Rui Hachimura and Taurean Prince returned last week after missing multiple games due to injury, and big men Anthony Davis and Jaxson Hayes also came back after short stints on the injury list. In addition, forward Jarred Vanderbilt, who has been out since the preseason with left heel bursitis, is apparently nearing a return.
However, LeBron James is dealing with a left calf contusion he sustained on Friday. He’s listed as questionable for Tuesday’s home game against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Anthony Davis (hip) is probable and LeBron James (calf) is questionable for Tuesday’s game vs. MEM, per the Lakers

Memphis has the worst record in the Western Conference (2-8), but it shouldn’t be taken lightly. It defeated the new-look Los Angeles Clippers on Sunday, and guard Desmond Bane and big man Jaren Jackson Jr. have been playing well to start the season.
