Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati has made a plea to the international community to intervene and halt what he described as Israeli 'tyranny' following a recent series of strikes on Beirut. The state news agency NNA reported on Friday that Mikati, while in New York, emphasized the urgent need for action.

Mikati expressed his frustration with the Israeli aggression, stating that it clearly demonstrates the enemy's disregard for international efforts and calls for a ceasefire. He stressed that the current situation demands a collective response from the international community to deter Israel and put an end to what he referred to as a 'war of extermination' against Lebanon.
