One of the original former The Real Housewives of Cheshire stars Leanne Brown was last seen on our screens a year ago as she made a dramatic cameo return to the ITVBe reality show. She packed a punch as she took on, and beat, fellow Real Housewife Rachel Lugo in a charity boxing match at the AO Arena in Manchester.
She quit the uber-glam reality show, famous for its champagne-fuelled revelry and explosive dinner parties, to pursue her charity work back in 2018. And now her new venture has been revealed.
Leanne and her business partner and 'soul sister' Sophie Baines host well-being retreats Eat Pray and Self-Love in tranquil settings to provide rest, meditation, and spiritual healing. Leanne and Sophie gave an insight into their evening and weekend retreats, featuring yoga, meditation, cacao ceremonies, soul food suppers and sound healing, and spoke about their own journeys and battles during an empowerment event at The Hilton Hotel on Deansgate, Manchester.

They teamed up with Stacey Dudley of training provider The Clarity Circle for The Luminary event, bringing women together to help with their personal and professional development. Fellow speakers included spiritual empowerment coach Fleur Bowd, midlife coach Kelly King who specialises in menopause, OMG Fabulous beauty founder Melanie Gizzi and psyche nutrition coach Julia Oosthuizen.
Business owner Kelly Gillbey linked-up via zoom all the way from Australia, followed by an appearance from sober coach Gemma Farhall at the event hosted by The Edge Events. This summer Leanne and Sophie said they were on "a wonderful path together" as they shared about their retreats.
stelloute123 said: "This is so pure ladies. Keep spreading those wholesome vibes." Mum-of-three Leanne previously said she'd "found her purpose" after leaving the Real Housewives.
Since the cameras stopped rolling for Leanne on the docudrama about Cheshire's 'Golden Triangle' she has channelled her energies into humanitarian work with the charity One Woman At A Time, dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged women and girls in parts of Kenya, India and UK.
Leanne told us in 2019 that she was open to future TV work but said the Real Housewives chapter was firmly closed following bitter rows aired on the show between herself and Dawn Ward. "I don't believe in regrets and I don't believe in looking back either."
"Too much has been done and said and I'm not going to put myself through that again," she said. And she added: "You need to attract somebody that encourages you rather than the opposite, as hurtful as that is."
