Bradford City released players add to League Two free agents list Bolton Wanderers could target

Mansfield Town booked their place in the League Two play-off final after overcoming Northampton Town.

The regular season in the EFL has concluded and now the play-offs are in full swing to complete the composition of all three divisions for the 2022/23 campaign. Port Vale take on Swindon Town in the other semi-final with a place in League One up for grabs next season.

League One was the first to conclude and most sides from that division, including Bolton Wanderers, have released their retained lists following the conclusion of the campaign. The University of Bolton Stadium club released a total of eight players.

Though the play-offs are still ongoing and the campaign still not technically over, Wanderers have not wasted any time in making acqusitions and strengthening their squad. Jack Iredale joined the club on a three-year deal after leaving Cambridge United.

Clubs in the Championship and League Two have begun to release their retained lists too. The playoffs for League Two are due to begin this weekend with Swindon Town taking on Port Vale and Northampton Town going up against Mansfield Town.

Several clubs in the fourth tier of English football have issued squad updates and confirmed which players will become free agents this summer.

Wanderers have proved they will recruit from the division below over the past campaign. Aaron Morley joined from Rochdale in January, while Josh Sheehan and Joel Dixon were recruited last summer after spells with Newport County and Barrow.

So here's a round-up of all the players who have been confirmed as being released from League Two clubs this summer. More will be added in due course when announcements are made and more than half of clubs have released details so far.
