Lea Michele recently celebrated Mother’s Day by sharing the exciting news of her second child's gender. The 37-year-old actress took to Instagram on May 12 to reveal that she is expecting a baby girl, adding to her joy of raising her son Ever.

Lea Michele tied the knot with husband Zandy Reich in 2019, officiated by Glee creator Ryan Murphy. Their first child, Ever, was born in August 2020, and the couple announced their second pregnancy in March of this year.

However, Michele's journey to motherhood has been challenging due to her struggles with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). She candidly shared her fertility issues, including a difficult first pregnancy marked by heavy bleeding and hospital visits.

Despite the hurdles, Michele and Reich persevered and are now expecting their second child. The couple faced additional heartbreaks during this pregnancy but remain hopeful for the future.

Aside from their fertility struggles, the couple also dealt with health scares involving their son Ever, who was hospitalized twice in April 2023. Michele has been open about the emotional toll these experiences have taken on her.

Despite the challenges, Michele continues to embrace her pregnancy journey. She recently showcased her baby bump at the 2024 Met Gala, radiating joy and elegance in a stunning gown that complemented the event's theme.

Through her openness about her fertility struggles and pregnancy journey, Lea Michele inspires many with her resilience and positivity as she looks forward to welcoming her baby girl into the world.
