Le Mans class winner Taylor to sub for injured Elliott in NASCAR Cup at COTA

Elliott, the 2020 Cup champion, suffered a fractured tibia in his left leg in a snowboarding accident in Colorado last week.

The team said in a statement on Tuesday that the 27-year-old is expected to be out for six weeks after successfully undergoing a three-hour surgery.
