A lawyer suing Daniel Kinahan says his client should receive a payout of between US$10 million to $20m (€9.5m to €19m) — after the mob boss was sanctioned by the US government.
The Star has learned that US lawyer Eric Montalvo has made new submissions to a California-based court which he believes has significantly bolstered his case.
Mr. Montalvo represents boxing manager Moses Heredia, who was suing Kinahan and boxing promoters MTK Global for $2 million over the alleged poaching of boxer JoJo Diaz — but now is asking for much more after the US Treasury Department sanctioned the mob boss last month.
