PATIALA: A resident of Nabha in Patiala district has filed a complaint against AAP’s chief ministerial face Bhagwant Mann, alleging that he concealed the fact about his marital status in his election affidavit. The complaint has been sent to the Punjab chief electoral officer by Harkirat Singh Sakrali.
Sakrali claimed that in his affidavit, Mann has put ‘not applicable’ in the ‘spouse’ column despite the fact that he is not legally divorced. He said even PM Narendra Modi had mentioned the name of his wife in his 2019 affidavit and mentioned ‘not known’ for the assets of his wife under the ‘spouse’ column. Similarly, SAD patriarch Parkash Singh Badal also disclosed the name of his deceased wife in the ‘spouse’ column.
