Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs‘ legal troubles continue to mount as a new lawsuit alleges a shocking incident involving a professional athlete intervening to prevent a sexual assault at a star-studded Ciroc party in 2022.
The lawsuit, filed by a luxury car and jewellery rental businessman from Los Angeles, claims that Combs invited him to a private office during his vodka brand’s launch event. What happened next, according to the court documents, is nothing short of disturbing.
The plaintiff, identified only as John Doe, alleges that Combs suddenly stripped off his pants and exposed himself.
“Combs continued to move closer and then grabbed Plaintiff’s genitals through his pants, squeezing them in a rough and sexual manner,” the lawsuit stated, per The New York Post.
The businessman was left “shocked and disoriented” by the alleged advance. He admits he “froze momentarily”, unsure how to respond to the “weirdly inappropriate sexual advance”.
The lawsuit claims that an unnamed professional athlete (referred to as Professional Athlete A) walked into the office, inadvertently putting a stop to the alleged assault. The businessman reportedly seized this opportunity to make a swift exit from both the room and the party. This latest accusation adds to the growing list of legal challenges facing the hip-hop mogul.
Combs is currently facing federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and transportation for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty to these charges and is currently detained in a Brooklyn facility, with his trial set for May 5, 2025.
The lawsuit is one of at least five new cases filed in the Southern District of New York by attorney Tony Buzbee. This includes a 13-year-old girl who was alledgedly raped by Combs after the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000 while two unnamed celebrities watched.
Buzbee has revealed that he was representing a staggering 120 individuals in lawsuits accusing Combs of sex crimes spanning three decades.
As the legal saga unfolds, Combs’ team continues to deny all allegations. His lawyers have stated, “Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted anyone – whether adult or minor, man or woman,” per Page Six.
