Lawrence Shankland says Stephen Humphrys scored his goal of the season contender for Hearts on Saturday with his WEAK foot.
The Jambos skipper started the fightback against former club Dundee United on Saturday after Steven Fletcher had put Liam Fox's side in front, with the game turning in maroon favour on a Ryan Edwards red card. Alex Cochrane put Robbie Neilson's men ahead before Humphrys finished things off in stoppage time with an outstanding lob from just inside his own half.
It's brought in plenty of plaudits but Shankland tells Go Radio that it was a far cry from what he saw in training the day previous - and that it was actually on the Wigan loanee's weaker side. He explained: "If you'd see have seen him in training on Friday, you'd have thought he had Ugg Boots on! We were joking after it, I said to him that he's to leave the six yard box to me, he can do those ones.
"I was playing at the back at that point and he was getting hauled down. I was screaming at him to go down as it was that late in the game so he could have won a foul.
"But it was actually on his weaker foot! He's right-footed and he has caught it so sweet that it was one of those ones, as soon as he left his foot you are running to celebrate it."
