Law firms among the oldest in the South West set to merge

Two of the longest established law firms in Exeter and the South West are set to merge.

WBW Solicitors, founded in 1830, will merge with Crosse + Crosse, established in 1915. on August 1.

The new firm will be based at WBW's existing office in Exeter and will be known as as WBW Solicitors incorporating Crosse + Crosse.

It will also have offices in Axminster, Bovey Tracey, Chard, Exmouth, Honiton, Launceston, Newton Abbot, Paignton, Torquay, Seaton, and Sidmouth.

Sarah Witheridge, WBW Office Partner at Exeter said the values at Crosse + Crosse are fundamental to its own ethos at WBW.

Tim Selley, Partner at Crosse + Crosse said: "We are sure that the merge will benefit for all, as we pool our talents and resources and broadens the range of legal services that we can provide”.
