Five Law and District Amateur Athletics Club teams won medals at the Scottish Athletics Indoor League relays.
In total, six teams reached finals at the event at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow, with each competing in the 4x200m relay.
Law’s under-17 women’s team of Tiana Greenshields, Susannah Kay, Lauren McNair and Tehillah Ikechukwu Okonkwo were on top form, winning gold with an impressive time of 1.45:45, just outside their club record.
Their under-17 men’s team of Owen Murphy, Jak Weir, Charlie Hall and Ross Duffin won gold in a new club record time of 1.33:78.
Law’s under-20 women’s team of Jade Gray, Codie McHolm, Emma Gilchrist and Sophie Evans also won gold in 1.45:96.
Their under-15 girls, Lucia McKennan, Neve Murray, Skye Davidson and Eva Gray won silver in 1.54:09.
The under-15 boys, Luke Evans, John Frood, Cameron Chambers and Jack Duffin, who won bronze in 1.50:08.
And their under-13 boys’ team of Jamie Mackie, Alexander Wotherspoon, James Keenan and Stefan Cowan finished in fourth place.
Law and District AAC’s seniors were competing in half marathons across the country.
Ten athletes competed in Alloa, with Allan Neill first to finish in 51st place, followed by Elaine Boyle (279th) and Christine Neill (410).
Senior runner Lesley Graham was happy with her result of completing the Inverness Half Marathon in a time of 1.38:35, in 444th place.
Six young athletes received an invitation to attend a Scottish Schools training day at Grangemouth, following their fine performances at the Scottish Schools’ Indoor Championships at the Emirates Arena in Glasgow.
Under-17s Tehillah Ikechukwu Okonkwo, Tiana Greenshields, Owen Murphy, Ross Duffin, Declan McClelland and under-15 Johann Gillon enjoyed their day of expert coaching in their respective disciplines.
