Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez has outlined his intention to stay at San Siro beyond this summer.
The Argentinian international has been linked with both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur. A move to Spurs would reunite him with ex-Inter boss Antonio Conte, whilst former strike partner Romelu Lukaku is at Chelsea.
However, despite the links between him and a move to London, the 2020/21 Serie A title winner has made it clear that he has no plans to leave Inter this summer, despite Inter missing out on back-to-back titles to their arch-rivals AC Milan.
“I've not received communications from the club, (but) as of today I want to continue at Inter next season,” Martinez said, via the Daily Mail. “My plan is clear. I really want to stay at Inter next season.”
Martinez was part of the Argentina side who were 3-0 winners over Italy in the Finalissima at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday night, a game that saw the Copa America winners take on the defending European champions.
The Inter forward got the opening goal of the game in the first half, continuing his impressive international record with 20 goals in his 38 senior caps for a country that includes the likes of Lionel Messi and Angel Di Maria.

Di Maria was on hand for the second goal of the game on the edge of half-time in north London, with Juventus forward Paulo Dybala adding a third in the final knockings of the tie.
Since signing for Inter from Racing Club in 2018, Martinez has returned a solid scoring record for Simone Inzaghi’s side, netting 74 times in 180 appearances in all competitions, with 58 of those goals coming in Serie A.
Martinez has scored three goals in as many games in international football this season and will look to that record in the coming days.
The 24-year-old take on Estonia on Sunday in a friendly this Sunday, with Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Cristian Romero and Brighton and Hove Albion midfielder Alexis Mac Allister being the Premier League contingent in the squad.
While Martinez has been linked with Chelsea, his former Inter colleague Lukaku has been linked with a return to Milan to play alongside Martinez once again.
Lukaku is said to be keen on a return to the San Siro having struggled for form after his £97.5million transfer to Chelsea last year.
