Lauren Goodger speaks out for the first time after tragic loss of baby daughter

Lauren Goodger took to social media to share the heartbreak of losing her newborn baby daughter, after the tragic news on Sunday afternoon.

The former reality television celebrity uploaded to Instagram for the first time since revealing to her fans that she had lost her baby girl, Lorena, reports the Mirror. The former The Only Way is Essex star shared the emotional tune 'A Mother's Prayer' by Celine Dion onto her Instagram story, alongside a broken heart emoji.

This is the first post Lauren has put out since she told fans of the tragic loss, as a spokesperson noted that Lauren and her partner Charles Drury were overwhelmed and touched by the amount of support sent their way after the news. On Sunday, the 35-year-old uploaded a black-and-white photo of her holding the tiny hand of baby Lorena.

This post was accompanied with the caption: "Lorena. R.I.P 08.07.22 she was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x …

"Words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me.

"There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar."

The star continued: "I am broken. I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet."

And later on in the day, Lauren added to the post, stating: "I will never ever get over this but I will learn how to live everyday with Lorena in my heart she will be with me always and I will be with her again one day … My [angel emoji] Lorena I love you so much."

Boyfriend Charles commented on the post as well, writing: "She will always be with us," alongside several heart emojis.

Lauren was sent thousands of messages of support, including some from fellow celebrities as well. Cleaning guru Mrs Hinch wrote: "Beyond devastating , I am so so sorry Lauren and Charles. sending you so much love prayers and strength."

Fellow TOWIE star Amy Childs said: "Sending you love Lauren." Meanwhile, TV personality Danielle Armstrong said: "Oh darling heartbroken for you sending you strength and love and hope you get the respect and privacy you need to grieve xxxx".
