Lauren Goodger has opened up on an "emotional" tarot card reading she received as she grieves the passing of her baby daughter.
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren, 35, and her boyfriend Charles Drury were hit with heartache earlier this month as their newborn daughter Lorena passed away shortly after she was born.
After opening up on her grief and revealing she has asked for a postmortem to understand medically how the tot passed away, Lauren has now sought comfort in a tarot reading.
Lauren, who told OK! she'd never thought she'd have to plan a funeral for her daughter, shared a screenshot of the Instagram profile, called Love From Tarot, who gave her the reading on her Instagram story.
She wrote on top: "Just had an amaz & emotional reading that was needed thank you @LoveFromTarot". [sic]
It comes after Lauren, who shared her heartache that her bump 'isn't shifting', opened up about the loss of her daughter.
Lauren told OK! how she plans to swap teddy bears with her later daughter. She gave Lorena a teddy bear after she passed away and has her own that she keeps at all times.
Reality star Lauren plans to swap the teddies over when she lays her daughter to rest.
She said: "Lorena has a teddy with her now and I’ve got a matching one, which I keep with me.
"When I say my final goodbye to her, I’m going to swap them over. I’m going to have the one she’s had, and she will have the one I’ve had."
Lauren also candidly opened up on her grief and explains she struggles at night.
"When I get into bed in the evening, I just want Lorena there next to me," she said. "I feel like I can keep strong in the day for Larose, but at night, that’s when it just hits me. That’s when I feel really, really sad and I miss her so much."
Lauren and Charles' "perfect" baby daughter was born on Friday July 8 weighing 9lb. The mum had planned to welcome her daughter at home with the support of a midwife.
But, things took a tragic turn when the midwife couldn't find a heartbeat for the unborn tot.
The star then spent 24 hours with her daughter in a special room in the hospital, during which she said she "cried the most tears".
Lauren was taken to hospital and Lorena was born within two hours of her arrival with the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck and with two knots in it.
Doctors rushed to save her life, while Charles screamed for them to 'save my baby', but were unable to.
Later, Lauren shared a tribute to her late daughter as she wrote: "Lorena R.I.P 08.07.22 she was the most beautiful healthy baby I’ve ever seen just like her sister @babylarose.x … words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me".
She added: "There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself she was perfect I can’t understand it she is so so beautiful Larose twin so similar.. I am broken".
