Lauren Goodger and Charles Drury are reportedly receiving support from friends following the tragic death of their newborn daughter after asking for time to "grieve and heal".
Former The Only Way Is Essex star Lauren, 35, shared the devastating news of her daughter Lorena's death on Sunday morning.
In a heartbreaking Instagram post, Lauren said Lorena was "the most beautiful healthy baby I've ever seen". But, later added that her "angel" was "taken from me".
Lauren, who gave birth on Friday, added: "There was no pregnancy or labour complications and she was fine & healthy but I am not going into detail right now just know that there was nothing wrong with her or myself. she was perfect."
The couple's friends and fans shared messages of support and condolence following the sad announcement.
Now it has been reported that Lauren and Charles, who also posted a heartbreaking tribute to his daughter, are "shocked" but receiving support from those close to them.
A source told The Sun: "It’s been such a shock for the couple but the NHS has been amazing.
"Friends are rallying around and they have a good support network
"It will be tough for them. They need time to grieve and heal."
Meanwhile, the insider added how the pair "need time to grieve and heal".
Lauren and Charles, who are parents to one-year-old daughter Larose, announced they were expecting their second child in January this year.
However, in her emotional update on Sunday Lauren revealed her heartache over the loss of her daughter.
She wrote in her post: "words can’t describe as a mother losing your baby that I carried for all these months perfectly and gave birth too for my angel to be taken from me".
Lauren also explained how she had returned from hospital.
"I am back home from hospital Me & Charlie spent as much time with our baby girl Lorena and I haven’t said my goodbye yet," she wrote.
Charles also penned a tribute to his daughter as he wrote: "Our beautiful baby girl so perfect in every way, 8/7/22 will always be your day. Your little heart will forever beat inside mine, I’ll love you until the end of time.
"Nothing will be the same without you, it’s like living a bad dream I can’t wake from, but your mummy & sister will keep me sane."
Sharing the resemblance between his daughters he added: "You remind me so much like your big sister, you’d have looked like little twins, Larose will always know how beautiful & strong you were."
Charles then vowed: "I promise you ill look after your mummy & sister forever, just look over us all & keep me strong, show me signs that you’re up in heaven where you belong. I’m sorry it had to be this way but I know we’ll be together again some day."
Celebrity friends shared messages of condolence to the pair as Danielle Armstrong wrote: "Oh darling heartbroken for you sending you strength and love and hope your get the respect and privacy you need to grieve xxxx".
While Georgia Kousoulou added: "I’m so so sorry Lauren , sending you so much love & strength right now".
"Awww Lauren, I'm honestly so heartbroken for you... sending you all so move love," Vicky Pattison penned.
