- GOP Rep. Lauren Boebert has defended sending a photo from Hillary Clinton's closed-door deposition to an influencer, insisting, “Benny did nothing wrong.”
- Hillary Clinton is being questioned Thursday by the House Oversight Committee as part of their investigation into the Jeffrey Epstein cases.
- The deposition was paused after MAGA influencer Benny Johnson posted a photo from the meeting, writing on X, “The first image of Hillary Clinton testifying under oath about Jeffery Epstein to the Republican Oversight Committee. This is the first time Hillary has had to answer real questions about Epstein. Clinton does not look happy.”
- Clinton’s advisers demanded to know where the photo came from and why a member of Congress violated House rules. Clinton’s deposition is being recorded and videos and a transcript of the deposition are slated for release after they have been reviewed by attorneys, House Oversight Committee chairman Rep. James Comer said.
- Rep. Robert Garcia, the top Democrat on the committee, criticized the sharing of the photo as "unacceptable" and a breach of the committee's established rules.
