Former Love Island host Laura Whitmore is creating a new documentary series looking at issues affecting women in 2023, including rough sex pornography and Incels.
Incels are men who populate online groups where they discuss the hate of women, and in recent years have been linked to a number of violent crime.
A TV insider told The Sun: “Rough sex is a subject that taps into the grey areas that come with certain behaviours and how we navigate them. We’re a society which is increasingly exposed to violence via the internet and that can lead to problems when that manifests itself in real life.
“As in so many similar situations, that often means women bear the brunt of those problems, which is what Laura will be looking at in the doc.”
Three documentaries will air on ITVX with topics investigated by Laura Whitmore.
