Laura Loomer's Ukraine visit became one of the most discussed topics on social media after the far-right activist and close ally of US President Donald Trump admitted she had been wrong about Ukraine for years. She travelled to Ukraine and apologized for 'Russian propaganda' after she herself witnessed air raid firsthand.

In the past, she repeatedly criticized US military aid to Ukraine and accused President Volodymyr Zelensky of leading a country "full of Nazi apologists". Her dramatic shift in stance came after experiencing an air raid and witnessing the impact of Russia's invasion firsthand.
