Laura Loomer, a right-wing influencer who has sway with President Donald Trump, rejected the administration’s two-week ceasefire deal with Iran, claiming it is “awful for America” and that the U.S. should “destroy the regime” instead.
Loomer, who has spent much of her online career spreading Islamophobic rhetoric, insisted that a ceasefire in exchange for the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz was “a negative for our country” and that the U.S. “didn’t really get anything out of it.”
