Laura Anderson, who is expecting her first baby with ex-partner Gary Lucy, has slammed trolls after receiving a barrage of "disgusting and damaging comments" online. The reality television star, who shot to fame in 2018 when she was a runner-up on ITV2's Love Island, has announced she's been forced to block many people on Instagram over the negativity.
The 33-year-old revealed she was pregnant in February 2023 after meeting her ex, former EastEnders actor Gary Lucy, on Celebs Go Dating in 2022. Just days later Gary announced the couple had split, with Laura also releasing a statement about the breakup.
Now Laura has said she's been left in disbelief after receiving "negative accusations" about her character from strangers "while going through a break up and pregnant". You can keep up to date with the latest TV and showbiz news by signing up to the newsletter here.

Posting a lengthy statement to her 1.5 million Instagram followers, Laura said: "I don't like to share the negativity I receive on here but it has been more than usual recently. I've blocked so many people for disgusting and damaging comments.
"It blows my mind that people conjure up such strong assumptions of what they think goes on behind closed doors or behind bull crap media stories. Never in my life did I think I could receive negative accusations on my character from strangers while going through a break up and pregnant".
She added: "My tolerance for trolling at the minute is SO low. It's honestly so damaging to mental and physical health I thought this was obvious. Thankfully the positive outweighs the negative but sometimes it's hard to see when you're in the firing line."
Laura went on to thank the fans that have been supportive and who keer her "sane" online. She said: "I really appreciate the amazing messages and I support you right back. Rant over. Cheers to the normal people, you keep me sane online."
Earlier this year, Laura confirmed her split from Gary. She said: "I had no intention to comment on the breakdown of my relationship with Gary. However, due to what has now been publicly shared by other parties, I have been left with no other choice. Gary and I are no longer together due to multiple reasons which will remain private".
