If you're looking to book holidays, there are plenty of countries open to UK travellers at the moment including France, Spain, Greece, Turkey and the USA.
There are some where you don't need Covid tests if you're vaccinated, and others that don't require Covid tests at all.
For the majority of destinations, you'll need to be able to have a negative PCR test result or proof of vaccination (sometimes even both), and entry rules are ever-evolving.
As the UK's new travel rules will see Covid tests axed for the double jabbed, it's not surprising that holiday-starved Brits are looking to book getaways.
To give you a helping hand, we've put together a guide to the latest travel rules for popular holiday hotspots below.

France
Fully vaccinated UK travellers can visit for non-essential reasons. All passengers aged 12 or over need a negative PCR or antigen test taken within 24 hours, proof of vaccination, and a completed 'sworn statement' completed online pre-departure.
Unvaccinated or partially vaccinated travellers won't be granted entry for non-essential reasons.
Spain
UK travellers must be fully vaccinated in order to visit Spain for holidays. This means having received your last dose at least 14 days before travel.
However, it's worth noting that vaccination rules are changing from February 1.
You'll need to have received your full vaccination within 270 days - if your vaccination was before this, you'll need to have proof of a booster jab.
The rules apply for all passengers aged 12 or over.
Turkey
Turkey is open to UK holidaymakers regardless of vaccination status, and requires all passengers aged six or over to complete an online form at least 72 hours before departure.
All passengers aged 12 or over need to have proof of one of the following:
- Proof of Covid vaccination completed at least 14 days before arrival
- Recent recovery from Covid
- A negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before arrival
- A negative antigen test taken within 48 hours before arrival
Children aged 11 and under are exempt from the testing and vaccination requirements.
Bulgaria
Bulgaria has currently placed the UK on its 'red zone' meaning there are strict requirements if you want to visit.
UK travellers can enter Bulgaria if they have proof of full Covid vaccination or evidence of recovering from Covid. You'll also need a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours before entry.
If you fail to show these documents, you'll be placed into a mandatory 10 day quarantine.
Children aged 12 and under will be required to have a negative PCR test - without this, they will need to self-isolate for 10 days.
Greece
You'll need to fill out a passenger locator form pre-departure, and be able to show either a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before arrival, or an antigen test from an authorised lab taken within 24 hours.
These rules apply to all travellers aged five or older.
Cyprus
You can visit Cyprus for holidays but the UK is on the country's 'red' list.
This means you'll need to obtain an online flight pass pre-travel, and also have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure.
Once in Cyprus, everyone aged 12 and older will be required to take a PCR test at the airport (which costs between €15-€19), as well as undergoing daily PCR tests throughout your trip.
Croatia
You can visit Croatia if you can show one of the following; proof of being fully vaccinated within 365 days, a negative Covid antigen test taken within 48 hours of travel, a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of travel, or proof of recovery from Covid.
Children under 12 are exempt if they are accompanied by a parent or guardian who meets the above requirements.
Switzerland
If you're fully vaccinated against Covid or have proof of recovery, you can enter Switzerland without needing a Covid test.
If you're unvaccinated, you'll need to have a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of travel, or an antigen test within 24 hours.
Children under the age of 16 are exempt from testing.
Italy
You'll need to fill out a pre-departure passenger form to get a QR code for border control. Other entry rules then differ depending on your vaccination status.
Fully vaccinated travellers can visit Italy if they have a PCR test taken within 48 hours of travel, or an antigen test within 24 hours. There is no need to quarantine.
If you are unvaccinated or partially vaccinated, you'll need to take a PCR test within 48 hours of travel, and self-isolate in Italy for the first five days of your trip. On day five you need to take a second Covid test - PCR or antigen.
However it's worth noting that in Italy you need a "Super green pass' to access the likes of hotels, restaurants and bars, which you can't obtain if you're not vaccinated.
Malta
You must be fully vaccinated against Covid in order to visit Malta - this means having received a full course of vaccination at least 14 days prior to your arrival.
Portugal
UK travellers aged 12 or over can visit Portugal as long as they have proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure, or an antigen test taken within 48 hours of departure.
You'll also need to complete a pre-departure passenger locator form online.
Iceland
You can only visit Iceland for non-essential reasons (such as a holiday) if you are fully vaccinated against Covid, or can show proof of recovery from Covid.
You also need a negative PCR or antigen test result taken within 72 hours before departure.
Austria
To enter Austria, you'll need to be able to show proof of fully vaccination, or recovery from Covid.
Alongside this, you'll also need to have a negative PCR test result taken within 72 hours, or proof that you have received a booster jab.
Children under 12 are exempt if they are accompanied by fully vaccinated/recovered adults.
For teens who are not yet vaccinated, there is a 'Holiday Ninja Pass' scheme which grants them entry - this includes PCR testing.
Norway
All travellers arriving in Norway must undergo a Covid test on arrival, regardless of vaccination status.
You'll also need to complete a pre-departure form online, within 72 hours before arrival.
Children under the age of 16 are exempt.
