Tottenham will be looking to take another step toward securing Champions League football on Saturday when they travel to Southampton.
Antonio Conte's side recovered from their exits in the Champions League and FA Cup earlier this month by defeating Nottingham Forest last time out. A much-improved performance produced a valuable victory - stretching the gap between themselves and Newcastle in fifth to four points.
This weekend, Spurs will be hoping to benefit from Southampton's struggles by inflicting an 18th league defeat of the season on Ruben Selles' side. The Saints fell to a disappointing defeat to Brentford on Wednesday to leave them last in the Premier League table - two points from safety.

As the season enters a period where the injuries mount up, Tottenham have avoided any fresh injury concerns for their 106-mile trip down south. "No news, no new injuries," Conte said in his most recent press conference. "You know Sessegnon is out, Bissouma, Bentancur and Lloris. No new injuries. We have another training session tomorrow but fingers crossed I hope for nothing different."
In recent games, there have been doubts over players prior to matches. Emerson Royal and Ivan Perisic were doubts last weekend but both featured meaning Conte will have plenty of options to choose from.
However, there remain four long-term absentees for Spurs in Hugo Lloris, Yves Bissouma, Rodrigo Bentancur and Ryan Sessegnon. Lloris has been out of action with ligament damage in his knee while Bissouma was forced to undergo surgery on a stress fracture.
Fellow midfielder Bentancur sustained a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in the 4-1 defeat to Leicester last month while Sessegnon has been sidelined with a hamstring injury.
