Latest snapshot of coronavirus impact

Nearly 10 million Australian adults have now received a third COVID-19 vaccine dose. (AAP)

AUSTRALIAN VACCINATION NUMBERS:

* There have been 52,212,465 vaccine doses administered in the national COVID-19 rollout up to Friday, including 203,969 recorded in the previous 24 hours.

* Of that total, 32,542,187 have been administered by commonwealth facilities, an increase of 159,865 in the previous 24 hours.

* State and territory facilities have administered 19,670,278 vaccines, an increase of 44,104 in the past 24 hours.

* More than 95 per cent of people aged 16 and over have had at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine and 94 per cent are double vaccinated.

* A total of 9,901,711 adults have received more than two doses - a booster or top-up shot - an increase of 174,198 in the previous 24 hours.

AUSTRALIAN CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* 22,755 new cases: 8183 in NSW, 7224 in Victoria, 3660 in Queensland, 1372 in South Australia, 428 in the ACT, 456 in Tasmania, 1383 in the Northern Territory and 49 in Western Australia.

* The national death toll is 4546 (+65): NSW 1691 (+32), Victoria 2266 (+19), Queensland 367 (+13), South Australia 149 (+ one), ACT 31 (+0), NT 9 (+0), Tasmania 23 (+0) and WA 10 (+0). (Two Queensland residents who died in NSW have been included in the official tolls of both states).

GLOBAL CORONAVIRUS NUMBERS:

* Cases: at least 408,442,142

* Deaths: at least 5,802,000

* Vaccine doses administered: 10,168,735,363
