Latest on West Ham's Maxwel Cornet, Tomas Soucek and Aaron Cresswell after Cambridge win

West Ham United assistant coach Mark Waburton has provided injury updates on Maxwel Cornet, Tomas Soucek and Aaron Cresswell following the Hammers' 4-2 win over Cambridge United in a mid-season friendly.

Goals from Jarrod Bowen, Lewis Simper (own goal), Said Benrahma and Pierre Ekwah sealed a win for David Moyes' side in a six-goal thriller, with Greg Taylor scoring a late penalty for the hosts during his own testimonial match.

For the game, winger Cornet and midfielder Soucek were both missing from the squad, while vice-captain Cresswell came off early in the first half following an injury scare.

However, speaking after the game, Warburton said that there are no major concerns, over the trio, a boost ahead of upcoming mid-season friendlies away from home against Udinese and Fulham

"Tomas trained well yesterday but I think he woke up with a stiff back, so slept awkwardly, so he was with the medical team. Precautionary," Warburton told football.london.

"Cornet got a reaction, just a small reaction, nothing too serious at all, again we're just making sure we're being careful with the players.

"Cressy tonight, it's a cold night, he felt something at the back of his hamstring and we're just making sure everything is okay."
