Latest injury updates for Chiefs during Week 11 vs. Chargers

It’s getting hard to keep up with all of the injuries that the Kansas City Chiefs are currently dealing with, but we’ll do our best to break it down for you.

The first player injured was Clyde Edwards-Helaire, who was first deemed questionable to return with an ankle injury. Edwards-Helaire has now been ruled out and he’s tweeting to cheer his teammates on presumably from the locker room.

At the onset of the second half, the Chiefs suffered two injuries in the defensive secondary. Juan Thornhill was first deemed questionable to return with a calf injury. Minutes later he was ruled out by the team, which is exactly a good sign.

In addition to Thornhill, L’Jarius Sneed was pulled from the game to be evaluated for a concussion after he was slow to get up following a collision. It’s unclear what his status is or whether he’ll be allowed to return to the game.

Update: Sneed was able to return to the game after missing just a defensive series.

There’s also the hamstring injury suffered by WR Kadarius Toney, which has kept him off the field in the second half. The team was already thin at receiver and now they’re even thinner.

This is the most attrition that Kansas City has seen in a single game this season and they’re having to make some key adjustments on the fly.
