There has been an unprecedented level of government support during the cost of living crisis, with all households receiving some sort of payment. Everyone has been entitled to at least a £400 payment this winter to help with energy bills.
And those who are entitled to benefits are being given enhanced levels of payments. The good news is there is more to come this year and into 2024.
With inflation currently at 10.% and the interest rate predicted to rise again this coming week, the payment are designed to offset at least some of the increase in living costs. Everything from energy bills to the price of the weekly shops has gone up.
