Latest designs for Glasgow's George Square unveiled by council

Glasgow George Square Avenues

A final public engagement exercise has begun on the future design of Glasgow's George Square and the surrounding streets.

Glasgow City Council will now ask what people think about an initial sketch for the area that has been developed following earlier engagement on what was wanted in terms of use and design.

The engagement will inform the final design of both the square and around 2.5 kilometres of the surrounding streets, in what is the George Square Area Project, or Block C of the Avenues programme for Glasgow city centre, funded though the Glasgow City Region City Deal.
