Brazil's last man to score a World Cup winner against Scotland has slammed Carlo Ancelotti's side's level of play and insisted they have no chance of winning the trophy this year.

Scotland face the Brazilians tonight in Miami in their final World Cup group game.

It will be the fifth time the nations have met at the tournament and Scotland have never defeated the South Americans.

When the nations met in the last group game also, in 1990, Torino striker Muller netted a late winner to clinch the match 1-0 in Italy and Scotland were eliminated.

Muller is the last Brazilian to score a winner against the Scots at the Finals, as their winner in the 1998 game came from an own goal from Scotland's Tom Boyd.

He went onto win the World Cup with Brazil in 1994 and is now a top TV pundit.

But he's far from impressed from what he has witnessed so far from Brazil.

He said: "The performances of this Brazil team so far really worries me.

"We look like we are on schedule to play either the Netherlands or Japan in the next round.

"Both of them would beat us.

"Brazil is behind the level of the top teams in the tournament. We all know this.

"Both the Dutch and Japanese have more energy than we have shown.

"Unfortunately, I fear we are not going to be good enough again.

"I would like to see us put on a show against the Scots because there is a growing level of distrust from the fans about this team."
