Sphere Las Vegas has dazzled music fans since it opened Sept. 29, 2023, with superstar rock band U2's U2/UV Achtung Baby Live at the Sphere residency, which ran for 40 shows.
The spectacular multi-media Sphere venue delivers immersive experiences with the latest audio and video technology including a wraparound LED screen and advanced sound system, which has captivated both fans and bands.

U2 closed its residency on March 2, 2024, in the 18,600-seat venue and was followed by popular jam band Phish for a quick mini-residency with four sold-out shows on April 18-21.

Dead & Company launched its Dead Forever residency on May 16, 2024, after jam band Phish completed its shows and finished its 30-show residency run on Aug. 10, 2024, but did not say whether it would return for more shows.
The band was followed by the popular rock band the Eagles, who launched their residency at the Sphere on Sept. 20, 2024, with four shows each in September and October and then incrementally added four more shows each month for a total of 32 shows set to end on April 12, 2025.
The Eagles have not said whether the April shows are the final shows in the residency as its shows could share the calendar with other residencies, such as Dead & Company.
Dead & Company returns to the Sphere Las Vegas
Dead & Company, the legendary Grateful Dead spinoff, is returning to its Dead Forever Live At Sphere Las Vegas residency for 18 more shows, beginning on March 20, 2025, which will overlap The Eagles' residency at the venue.

Dead & Company revealed a new run of shows in March, April, and May that features its current band lineup of original Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Mickey Hart, along with John Mayer, Oteil Burbridge, Jeff Chimenti, and Jay Lane.

The band will perform on these dates:
- March 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 29
- April 17, 18, 19, 24, 25, 26
- May 9, 10, 11, 15, 16 and 17
Fans can sign up at Deadandcompany.com for the Artist Presale, which begins Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. Pacific time.
The website allows ticket buyers to sign up for presales for multiple shows, but only one sign-up per show. Presale codes will be sent to all registered fans at least 15 minutes before the presale begins.
Presale start times will be staggered based on the shows requested, and details will be included when the code is received. Both general admission and reserved seating options will be available starting with the presales.
VIBEE concert and hotel packages and three-concert VIP packages are currently available.
Tickets will go on sale for the general public on Dec. 13 at 10 a.m. Pacific.
Dead & Company completed their Final Tour at Oracle Park in San Francisco on July 16, 2023, and does not plan to tour anymore.
Previous Grateful Dead spinoffs included The Dead and The Other Ones, which formed in 1998 after frontman and guitarist Jerry Garcia's death in 1995. Former Grateful Dead bass player Phil Lesh, who did not perform with Dead & Company, died on Oct. 25.
The Grateful Dead made Sin City a regular stop on its tours, as it performed a total of 18 shows in Las Vegas over the years from 1969 to 1995.
