The Las Vegas Strip casinos offer a variety of headliner residencies, short-term engagements, magician shows, comedy performances and adult entertainment to satisfy their diverse clientele.
The Strip's residencies have been popular for decades and received a huge boost with the opening of Sphere Entertainment's (SPHR) Sphere. the venue currently features the Eagles for a residency, which began Sept. 20, and has stretched out for 28 shows until March 15, 2025.

For visitors seeking Vegas nostalgia, Mr. Las Vegas Wayne Newton's "Up Close and Personal" residency at Bugsy's Cabaret at the Flamingo, runs until a Dec. 30 show that's sold out, and Osmond Brothers star Donny Osmond's residency runs at Caesar Entertainment's Harrah's Showroom through June 7, 2025.

One of the biggest old-time Vegas shows is popular 1970s superstar singer Barry Manilow long-running residency at the Westgate Las Vegas, which began in February 2005 and runs through Dec. 13, 2025.
For fans of illusionists and magic shows, David Copperfield performs at MGM Resorts International's (MGM) MGM Grand Hotel and Casino, and Penn & Teller's magic, illusion, and comedy act continues at the off-Strip Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino until 2026.
Those who love to laugh can see comedian Jerry Seinfeld who returns for a six-show residency set for May 2, 3, Sept. 5, 6, and Oct. 10 and 11, 2025, at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Brad Garrett's Comedy Club at the MGM Grand and Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club at the Linq Promenade offer traditional stand-up comedians.
Traditional burlesque makes a comeback
A traditional Las Vegas Strip entertainment making a comeback is the burlesque show, which still draws audience interest. "X Burlesque" at Bugsy's Cabaret Showroom at the Flamingo and "Fantasy" at the Atrium Showroom at the Luxor were joined by International Queen of Burlesque Dita Von Teese, who on Sept. 19 debuted 44 shows at Voltaire in the Venetian Resort Las Vegas, which closes Dec. 22, 2024.
Chippendales bring their residency to the Strip
Finally, iconic male revue show Chippendales is leaving its residency for the last 21 years off the Las Vegas Strip and is bringing its fan favorite performances to rival Caesars Entertainment's (CZR) casino The Linq on the Strip.

Chippendales revealed on its website that it will perform at Chippendales Theater at Rio All-Suites Hotel & Casino through the end of 2024, then move its residency to Mat Franco Theater at The Linq beginning Jan. 14, 2025.

The male revue show will perform 38 more shows at the Rio in 2024 on Tuesdays through Sundays, with two shows at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and one show at 8 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays, with an exception for Tuesday, Dec. 24.
Chippendales will perform two shows on Christmas Eve at 8 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., and no show on Dec. 25, according to Ticketmaster.com.
Tickets for Chippendale's shows at Rio range from $49.95 balcony seats, $64.95 main floor "hot seats," $74.95 for VIP Table and $149.95 Producer Table.
Most tickets at The Linq are more expensive than Rio, ranging from the best seats for $117.95 and dropping to $107.95, $97.95, $87.95, $77.95 and $55.95.
Caesars owned the Rio when it sold the casino to Dreamscape Companies in 2019. Caesars continued operating the Rio until October 2023 when Dreamscape took over operations.
