NFL teams must cut down their rosters to 53 players by Tuesday at 4:00 PM ET. That means the Raiders will be waiving more than 20 players over the next several hours.
Here is an updated list of all the players the Raiders have waived this week:
CB Darius Phillips
The Raiders signed Phillips this offseason to a one-year deal, but decided to release him on Tuesday (per Jeremy Fowler of ESPN).
S Matthais Farley
The Raiders waived safety Matthias Farley on Tuesday, according to NFL Media’s Tom Pelissero.
OL Bam Olaseni
The Raiders waived Bam Olaseni on Tuesday, according to Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus. The hope is that he clears waivers and reverts back to the practice squad as a reserve offensive lineman.
LB Curtis Bolton
The Raiders have waived linebacker Curtis Bolton, according to Doug Kyed of Pro Football Focus. The intention is to bring him back to the practice squad should he clear waivers on Wednesday.
OT Alex Leatherwood
The Raiders have waived former 2021 first-round pick Alex Leatherwood, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Leatherwood lost the starting right tackle job and after no interest via trade, the team decided to move on.
