Tiernan Lynch insists there is plenty more to come from Kofi Balmer despite the young defender's experience in the Irish League.
Balmer has committed his future to Larne by signing a new contract extension which will keep him at Inver Park club until the summer of 2024.
The Northern Ireland Under 21 international made his Irish League debut back in 2017 for Ballymena United and went on to become one of Sky Blues' most consistent performers before moving to Larne last summer.
Lynch believes Balmer is at the perfect club to continue his development, and the Larne boss is determined to see the young defender fulfil his potential.
“Kofi has proven the quality we knew he had since his arrival in the summer," Lynch told the club's website.
“We felt full-time football would really help him to continue his progress and Kofi feels that himself.
“For someone of just 21 years of age he has a lot of experience in the senior game under his belt. Like any young player he knows he has plenty of developing to do and he is working hard at that every day.
“We’re delighted that will continue to be with us for the next two and a half years and we look forward to what that brings for Kofi and the club.”
