Larne boss Tiernan Lynch has confirmed he is “working very hard behind the scenes” to bolster his squad ahead of the new Danske Bank Premiership season.
It has been a busy summer of change so far for the Inver Reds with five new arrivals and seven players parting company with the East Antrim club.
Ballymena United midfielder Leroy Millar, Partick Thistle’s Shea Gordon, Sunderland goalkeeper Jack McIntyre and Cliftonville duo Aaron Donnelly and Daniel Kearns have all been snapped up in recent weeks.

But Ronan Hale, Davy McDaid, Lee Lynch and Dean Jarvis (both Coleraine), Conor Devlin, Navid Nasseri and Mike Argyrides (Glentoran) have all left for pastures new.
Lynch is open to adding further depth to his squad and the striking department is one area supporters would like to see strengthened before the new season kicks off.
Forwards Hale and McDaid, who have joined Cliftonville and Ballymena United respectively, scored 33 goals between them last season.
“I’d love to tell you yes,” said Lynch, when asked if he plans to do more business before the transfer window slams shut at the end of August.
“We are actively working very hard behind the scenes and there are a number of conversations going on in different places.
“But I’ve said all along, I’m not bringing people in for the sake of bringing people in.
“I’m bringing people in who want to be here for all the right reasons and are hopefully going to make us better at what we do.”
After being knocked out of the Europa Conference League by St Joseph’s of Gibraltar, Larne returned to action midweek with a 4-0 friendly win over Annagh United.
Ben Doherty, Shea Gordon, Matty Lusty and Fuad Sule were all on target against the Championship club at the BMG Arena in Portadown.
“It was exactly what we needed,” Lynch told Larne’s YouTube channel.
“Even the difference in the changing room, getting a couple of goals, getting back on the pitch, blowing the cobwebs off and putting things behind us.”
