Over a hundred cannabis plants were discovered in Cardiff on Monday by South Wales Police. Officers from Rumney found the large cannabis factory at a rented property in Ty-To-Maen Close in Old St Mellons.
They subsequently dismantled and destroyed all 140 of the mature plants. Western Power assisted the police in making the property safe and dismantling the factory.
A spokesperson from South Wales Police said: “No-one was in the property at the time, but arrest enquiries are on-going.” Anyone with information is asked to contact the force via e-mail at SWP101@south-wales.police.uk or call 101.
