Lanka Premier League 2024 to introduce second power-play in death overs

Lanka Premier League New Delhi

NEW DELHI: The Lanka Premier League 2024 is set to bring a thrilling new element to the tournament with the introduction of the 'Power Blast Overs'. This unique feature will be implemented during the 16th and 17th overs of each team's innings, providing them with an additional two-over power-play.

The 'Power Blast Overs' will be separate from the standard Powerplay that takes place in the first six overs of an inning. This new power-play is designed to add an extra layer of excitement and intensity to the latter stages of the innings.
