It’s spring practice season across college football, which means tailgates at spring games for fans and the first taste of football ahead of the fall.
It’s also, of course, a time of overreactions to positional battles, the performances of offensive and defensive coordinators and more.
That doesn’t mean that Lane Kiffin, who of course knows these details as well as anybody, couldn’t get a shot in at an SEC rival.
The Ole Miss coach is on a tear this week, which started with him ripping the reporter who falsely said he was taking the Auburn job, and continued with Kiffin posting a screengrab of Florida’s low-scoring spring game on Thursday night, which was tied 7–7 in the fourth quarter.

Florida’s orange team wound up beating the blue squad 10–7.
There’s never a bad time to trash talk an opponent in the conference, and Kiffin took Thursday night’s spring game as an opportunity to do just that.
