Lane Johnson to miss Eagles matchup vs. Buccaneers with a concussion

The Eagles will be without All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson after he could not clear the concussion protocol.

Johnson exited Philadelphia’s 15-12 win over New Orleans with a head injury and didn’t return to the game. Johnson was present at this week’s final two days of practice and made the trip to Tampa.

#Eagles RT Lane Johnson (concussion) didn’t clear the protocol in time for today’s game at the Bucs and will be listed out, NFL sources said.

The Eagles are 91-54-1 when he’s in the lineup, 14-22 when he’s not in the regular season.

Veteran offensive tackle Fred Johnson will start at right tackle after performing well in the win over the Saints.
