Landmark offices next to Co-op's headquarters approved

Approval has been granted to construct two landmark office buildings next to the Co-op's headquarters in Manchester city centre.

The city council has given the green light to NOMA's proposals for 2 and 3 Angel Square which would together include around 440,000 sq ft of office space and accommodate 4,400 workers.

The plans follow 1 Angel Square, where the Co-op is based, opened in 2013 and work started on 4 Angel Square. That building is expected to be completed in early 2023.
