A landlord in Cardiff is charging an extortionate price for one room and a bathroom in Cardiff. The flat, described as a “freshly decorated studio flat” on Rightmove, is on Romilly Road in Canton and is in a house which comprises multiple similar flats.
Estate agents MGY did not respond to WalesOnline’s request for comment as to why the flat might be so pricey. The positives of taking on the flat listed on Rightmove by the agents include the flat being close to Thompson’s Park and shops on Cowbridge Road East.
The room includes a bed, a kitchen, a washing machine and a sofa, while the bathroom includes a shower. One month’s rent for that is £575. If you are interested in this property you’ll also have to fork out an extra £675 in the form of a deposit.
