Landlord devastated at state of home after evicting nightmare tenants

Tenants left a landlord with a "trash mountain" outside a property and around £20k worth of damage that he says will take months to put right. Aydin Guner had a family move into his property in February 2022, but when it came to the six-month inspection the estate agents said the home was not clean and failed them.

The family had four dogs and lodgers staying with them and there were "nappies all over the floor". Eight months later the tenants stopped paying their rent and Aydin filed a section 21 notice asking them to leave a property.

After the family refused to leave Aydin moved forward with a court order to remove them with a writ of possession. Bailiff's attended the home on Tuesday and Aydin was devastated to see how much damage had been done, reports The Echo.
