A dead penguin was found among piles of medical waste in a depot at the centre of a major environmental probe.
The grisly discovery was made as workers cleared tonnes of material, including human body parts, following the collapse of the company responsible for disposing of it.
It's thought the penguin was part of a consignment from Edinburgh Zoo delivered to the facility at Shotts.
