Lanarkshire village group given 30 trees to help mark the Queen's Platinum Jubilee

A housing developer branched out to help a Lanarkshire village organisation grow and be part of the Queen's Green Canopy project.

Taylor Wimpey provided the Glenboig Development Trust community garden with 30 trees to plant to mark Her Majesty's Platinum Jubilee.

The donation supports the garden’s involvement in the Queen’s Green Canopy, a unique tree planting initiative created to mark the monarch's 70 years of service which invited people from across Britain to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”.
