Lanarkshire student blown away at getting to play on stage with Green Day

Green Day Lanarkshire Bellahouston Park

A college student from Airdrie was invited on stage to play with one of the biggest bands in the world.

Erin Paterson is a lifelong Green Day fan and went to their gig on Wednesday at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow.

The band asked if anyone could play the guitar and wanted to join them on stage and singer Billie Joe Armstrong noticed Erin with his sign.
